Lake phobane - Goedetrou Dam , Mr-D's PB Bass

After a long intense fishing trip to Richards Bay , I decided to challenge Mr D – Daniel , and Donovan to a bass fishing trip. This would be Mr-D’s first bass fishing experience..

We arrived at Lake Phobane round about 8am , I decided to take a stroll down to the rocky bed on the left side of the dam.

Nothing happened , so I walked towards Donovan and Mr-D to fish the point , By the time I reached Mr-D and Don , Mr-D had missed 4 fish , No bites for myself or Don.

It was very overcast , the wind blew heavy from the front, which also brought a bit of rain.

Mr-D managed to out fish us at the end of the day , and landed his PB of 1.8Kg.

Don landed 2 – nothing special , and myself well I am still looking for my first bite.

This is a very beautiful and tranquil venue , hope to fish it again one day, Well done Mr-D
